At Georganics we believe that it is vitally important to be a fully ethical and transparent company. We want to champion sustainable innovation, help those who need it most and create a more positive place to live. We would love you to know exactly who we work with, how, and why we choose to support them. This summer, we've been putting smiles on people's faces by supporting the following causes around the world:
We are proud to have taken our support to Africa with the help of dental hygienist Courtney Coey (@travelling_hygienist), who works to improve the oral care of locals in Kenya that have very little access to good dental care. This meant they were suffering with a risk of tooth decay, tooth loss and gum disease. To help, we donated toothbrushes to improve the quality of their future oral care.
@SailToTheCOP includes 41 change-makers that set sail for 7 weeks to the UN Climate Conference COP25 in Chile on the 1st October to promote sustainable travel. These change-makers are calling for fairer taxation of aviation usage and promoting more sustainable ways of travelling. We supplied the crew with our Natural Toothpaste which we hope helps them smile all the way across the Atlantic!
We are proud to support Cradle, a charity that works to donate beautifully curated comfort bags with practical items to mothers who have experienced the unexpected loss of a child in the UK. These bags help with any overnight or emergency hospital stays during or following the loss of their baby or babies. We've been working with the likes of Lush and other natural brands to provide them with wonderful premium products, such as our Beechwood Toothbrushes and Natural Toothpaste, throughout this difficult time.
We were a supporting sponsor at the 10th annual Women In Green Forum (WIGF) in LA which highlights women’s impact on the environmental industry in a range of sectors. The WIGF pledged to create an entirely plastic-free event this year. Our Natural Toothpaste, along with some other great eco brands, were involved in the 'Eco Wheel' where attendees pledged to take on a new sustainability challenge for at least a full week.
We are proud to support such amazing initiatives, and hope to continue to contribute to the inspirational work that is being carried out across the globe.
